Where there is life, there is change. Any attempt to keep things static leads to death which is just stuck energy being redistributed according to the law of love. The universe is a sea of energy with infinite currents and waves and flows. By opening and developing our abilities to receive and act upon inspirations and intuitions, we can continue to grow and develop as individuals and as a group. The only thing that creates stuck energy is fear, and fears are only energetic patterns that disconnect us from Love. Love is life. Love leads to change because love is the Power of Life. Our challenge is to constantly increase our connection to Love so that we do not allow fear to hold us back from fulfilling our destinies as cells of love in the body cosmic.

I don’t know whether there are really creatures that are like the vampires of myth and legend. The point of this post is to help you recognize the vampires in your life so you can move toward living a vampire-free lifestyle.

There are two basic types of vampires: internal and external. Both of these types of vampires do not drink our blood (most of the time!) What these vampires are good at is draining our energy, our very life force. Blood is one of the universal symbols of human life energy. When a people lose enough blood, they die. Internal and external vampires drain us of our essential life force and thus hasten our demise as well.

External vampires are people who drain our energy in a multitude of ways: manipulation, blackmail, addiction, extortion, guilt, shame, blame, anger, fear, passive-aggressive behavior patterns, physical abuse, ad infinitum.

Internal vampires are those fear-based programs that have us focused on what we do not want. And these programs lead us into disempowered ways of being and doing. These vampires block us from fully-connecting to our magnificence and also cause energy to leave our bodies in unproductive ways.

For most people, most of the time, both of these kinds of energy vampires are draining us of our life force constantly without our being conscious of what is really going on. Usually things have to get pretty bad before we do something about either of these vampires. The kinds of phrases that come up at times like these are: “That’s the final straw,” “I’ve hit rock bottom,” “I’ve had enough,” etc.

I’m going to give away a major secret of what it takes to rid ourselves of the many vampires that drain us of our vital live force. While we are usually more aware of the external vampires in our lives, the fastest and most effective way to set ourselves free from the tyranny of vampires is to clear out the internal ones first and foremost.

The truth is that nothing outside of ourselves can drain our energy without our permission. And the only way that external vampires succeed in draining our energy is because we have internal vampires that are already draining our energy in ways that work in harmony with the tactics of external vampires.

For example, someone else can only “make” us feel guilty if we already have a guilt vampire operating within us. If we didn’t have an internal guilt vampire, we would not tend to attract guilt vampires. If we did happen to encounter a guilt vampire, we would not buy into their particular energy addictions or psycho-emotional control dramas. And not getting their fixfrom us, they would move on to other victims. In this way we would remain powerful in the presence of various energy addicts as we release/heal more and more of our internal energy vampires.

Vampires are not bad. They are just addicts (external) and addictions (internal) that are looking for their next fix because they have become disconnected from the true Source of Life Energy. These dysfunctional patterns are based on the false assumption that people must manipulate and control other people to get the energy they need to survive. Let us have compassion upon ourselves and others afflicted by these debilitating patterns. And in so doing, we will begin to experience a whole new life of freedom, love, peace, and joy.

Even wondered why people (including ourselves) wander from addiction to addiction? People will move from a smoking addiction to a food addiction to a video game addiction to an exercise addiction to being addicted to behavior patterns in their romantic relationships in an endless progression. Many times these people, while deeply in the middle of the next addiction, will triumphantly proclaim that they beat the previous addiction.

If you haven’t figured it out already, specific types of addictions are just manifestations of a single underlying root cause that is unconscious for most people. Addictions are maladaptive strategies for handling the issues coming from the one root.

Okay, so what’s the one root? It’s FEAR. Yep. Once again, fear is at the root. And what is the remedy for fear? How do we overcome fear? Since fear is the experience of disconnection from the Love which is the Gound of Being or the Creative Source of All Being, allowing this Love into our lives is the cure.

Just as in the human world right now, fear or disconnection from love is as readily available as the air, so too is the Love of which I write. This Love is an energetic frequency that is like the zero-point energy photons that permeate every single nook and cranny of space-time. All we have to do is ask and receive it. For the adepts, it is more like simply allowing it to permeate one’s being. It’s that abundant and available. And as we allow this love to flood our beings, we are ever-more empowered to let go of the maladaptive patterns of addiction that keep us stuck in ruts and endless cycles of control, suffering, abuse, neglect, and imprisonment.

Allow the Love that is flooding the universe to flood your entire being, and you will eventually see the end of addiction and end of recovery and the beginning of a new life of freedom, peace, and bliss. Enjoy!

WARNING: IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH AND TAKE RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOWING IT, DON’T READ THIS POST!!!

Every single problem that any individual person, any group of people, or any aggregation of people has can be traced back to a single root cause. This has been true from the very beginning of the human race until the present moment. This single root cause will also be behind every future challenge that the human race will create in the future as well.

What’s the first cause of all of our troubles? It is choosing to believe that there is real separateness. The first cause of all problems is believing the lie that there are separate subjects and objects in the cosmos and not a unity of being. What flows from this belief are perceptions and interpretations leading to the most basic fear. This parent of all fears is the fear that one can cease to exist. It is the fear of complete and utter annihilation (AKA:non-being). This fear is the root fear that multiplies itself into innumerable fears and step-children of fear like addictions, abuse, neglect, and other maladaptive patterns of behavior.

Since separateness need not be true (despite interpretations of bio-body sensory inputs to the contrary) it leads to erroneous choices from the start. If the foundation is not sound, then everything built upon it will be subject to the weaknesses inherent in the flawed foundation.

So what is the solution? The answer is to allow the energy that belongs to the Source of all Being into the core of our very own selves. We are made in the invisible image of the Creative Source. To overcome the illusion of separation and the fears that flow from buying into that illusion, we need to consciously participate in the Power that flows from The Source.

The human race (for the most part) has shut itself off from the flow of this energy that belongs to the Ground or Source of All Being. It is the experience of this energetic poverty that leads people to experience erroneous perceptions and interpretations that cause suffering.

This Source Energy is ready and waiting for each and every one of us to allow it into or lives. As we allow more and more of it to permeate our beings, we are thus transformed from fearful creatures into inheritors of immortality and the peace and bliss that flow from the absolute certainty that we will continue to live richly for all of eternity.

I do a tranformational communication talk and workshop call “Word Power.” I know, it sounds like a vocabulary-building program for gradeschoolers. So be it.

Anyway, through developing that program and seeing it’s power, I have come to appreciate even more the power of our spoken and unspoken words in attracting, creating, co-creating our worlds (however you like to think about it).

We are creators. We are made in the image of the creative Cource of Being. Everything about us is designed to create reality. Science is showing this to be true.

So, how about we speak and think with a bit more awareness?

Here’s one to get us started. How often do we hear people say, “No problem!” When someone thanks them for something they did? I hear it all of the time. Listen and see if it’s true for you as well. Chances are you say it yourself.

This would be fine except for the fact that repeating this phrase over and over again, actually creates more problems. I’m not going to go into all of the science that backs me up on this. Let’s just be open to the possibility that when you say a word your mind is focused on it. When you say the word “problem” your subconscious mind says, ‘OK, lets look for and create as many problems as we can.” You may be saying, “But I said, “No.” 

That’s great except for one thing, your subconscoius doesn’t do anything with “no.” It can’t form an image of it in such a way as to negate the images of problems that the second word creates. Even if you could visualize a “no” within your mind the second word is still spoken for your subconscious to manifest.

Whenever you find your self speaking of anything you don’t want, remember, you can make a new choice. You can say, “You’re welcome.” (There’s a revolutionary idea!) The possibilities are infinite. “My pleasure” is nice to use too. Go easy onyourself if you actually seek to change this particular habit. Enjoy the process. Find a buddy to play along with in changing this unconscious pattern. I know that you will discover some unanticipated positive changes if you take me up on this particular challenge.

Think and speak about what you want (instead of what you don’t want), and you will greatly increase your chances of experiencing it.

Go forth and create the world you desire! Your words have much more power than you realize!

People want to be certain, and they will do everything they can to feel as certain as they can. The challenge is that people have not been taught how to become certain in the ways that will serve and support them in fulfilling their true destinies and desires.

The easiest way for people to experience certainty is to focus on the past. People tend to think of the past as being more certain that the future. While this appears to make logical sense, this approach will not produce the kinds of results that we actually desire.

Truly successful and powerful leaders are much more certain about the future than they are about the past. Those of us who are living the lives of our dreams and creating the world we desire are absolutely certain that the future is being created based upon what we intend, think, feel, and do right now.

This doesn’t mean that we are concerned with every detail of how we will create the future we desire. We know and trust (have faith) that we are creating our desired future right here and right now by following our intuitions, taking our inspired actions, being who we really are, and experiencing very powerfully the feelings that we anticipate feeling when our intentions are manifested on all levels of reality (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually).

I know that most people do not know how to do this. Yet most people are unconsciously doing something very similar without realizing it. Most people are so focused upon what they fear with such strong feelings of aversion that they are intending a future that will make them even more fearful than they were in the past. Because of the powerful energies that are currently flooding the earth, humanity’s ability to create what it fears is increasing at an incredible rate of speed with even more amazing consequences that we can experience through the media each and every day.

Everything that is perceived as a problem that is happening right now is a direct result of the persistent and powerful focus of the vast majority of human beings on what they are afraid of and what they do not want. That kind of “certainty” will create a future super-charged with fear and fear-inducing circumstances from the most-microscopic levels to the most macroscopic levels of reality.

When we release our fears, we get to experience certainty that the world will be transformed into a place that increases and enhances life instead of decreasing and diminishing it. Those of us who know what we are doing are using the very same energies that accelerating the forces bent upon fear and destruction for the purposes of creating the world we desire. Those who are living out of fear, no matter how powerful they may appear, are powerless when compared to those of us who are consciously creating the world from a foundation of Love.

Most people, most of the time, have all kinds of doubts about all kinds of things they want, wish, or would like to happen. The universe is a magnificent machine designed perfectly to give human beings exactly what they focus on. So what do feelings and thoughts of doubt create? They pretty much keep things the same as they are. Doubts take thoughts, feelings, and intentions that could shape a different future and negate or nullify them.

The universe responds to certainty. When a person or a group of people commit all of their time, energy, emotions, focus, attention, and faith to generating an outcome for long enough, it will come to pass. Of course all kinds of other variables related to the impassioned efforts of others will play a part in the creation of the desired outcome to the extent that the second groups’ efforts interact with the first person or group’s vision.

If you want something to occur, happen, be created, be transformed, or be done; focus upon that desired outcome with consistent and persistent certainty along with a red-hot, burning emotions of faith and passion. If at the same time you take daily inspired actions consistent with the creation of that desired outcome, it will occur. It must occur. The universe must bend itself to the power of your unstoppable desire.

So why don’t more people experience the fulfillment of their deepest desires? Because they doubt and lack certainty. And why is this the case? If you have been reading this blog for a while, you know what the answer is: fear. Fears that we are not-worthy enough, good enough, smart enough, strong enough, experienced enough, whatever enough-will cause the universe to give us whatever will keep us in the realm of what we think we already know.

To transform our lives and the world, all we need to do is release all of our fears. I think that is great deal to bring heaven to earth!

While I am a huge fan of what is commonly referred to as the ”Law of Attraction,” I also believe that there are other laws at work in the cosmos. I call one of these, “The Law of Displacement.” Here’s my thumbnail sketch of this universal principle.

Two things cannot occupy the same space at the same time. This principle can be appied at all levels of reality.

The physical: When we put an object in a bathtub filled to the brim, water flows out. Remember Archimedes and his “Eureka!” moment? By the way, te story says tht he ran through the streets naked. Now that’s passion!

The mental: If we are focused on what we fear and do not want, we do not have the space or time to think about what we do want and what we trust we will receive.

The emotional: When we indulge in the pleasures of negative feelings (of yes, we get something out of experiencing them, otherwise we wouldn’t waste our time with them) we miss out on the opportunities to experience positive emotions that actually help to attract what our souls most deeply desire.

The spiritual: When we cling to our fears around being loved or lovable, surviving, being accepted, being worthy of good things, being good enough, being crticized, et cetera, we do not have room in our souls for the Spiritual Power that gives us the actual expereinces of being unconditionally loved, immortal, being worthy of the best, and being good.

There are two sides to displacement:

1. Letting go of that which does not serve us so well.

2. Accepting and allowing that which serves us much better.

When we work both aspects of the functioning of this law, we will experience absolutely amazing results.

Since this law is a universal principle, it applies to every single aspect of our lives, from our relationships to our money, to our time, to our homes, to our work and health, every single aspect of our lives is directly and powerfully shaped by the workings of this principle.

May every space in our lives be filled to overflowing with miraculous and wonderful things!

Somehow most people today trust and believe what they think. I do not claim to know all of the reasons for this current state of affairs. My focus instead will be on some reasons why this is not justified and how we can do better from now on.

I remember being a kid and doing things that just occurred to me to do. One or both of my parents would say, “Why did you do that?” Somehow I knew that they were not asking a philosophical question. Somehow I was also able to understand that in that question was a judgment about my behavior that was not in my favor. My response was always the same. “I don’t know.” I find it pretty funny now when I think that they often asked me this question, giving me the opportunity to give them the same response every single time.

What I know now is that I had a thought and acted on it. As a child, I knew that many of my thoughts were not my own. I grew up in a Christian Church and had some exposure to the idea of evil spirits, so I believed that these spirits were influencing me to do things that were not in my best interest. I experienced these thoughts as coming from outside of my brain. I had no idea where they actually came from. I just knew I hadn’t come up with most of them. Somehow I knew.

As I got older, I started to think more and more that I was coming up with my own thoughts. I started owning them as my own creations and thinking of myself in terms of these  thoughts that I was experiencing. What was I thinking?!

Here’s the truth: the human brain is a receiver and transmitter. It sends and receives thoughts that are perfectly aligned with its current settings. Just because a thought is transmitted or received has nothing to do with its relative truth or falsity. They are just thoughts—energies passing through the brain’s circuitry.

There are many ways to become more aware of our thoughts. Whatever methods we employ, it is important to become observers of our thoughts and the feelings associated with them. Believing what passes through the brain is like accepting every stranger into your home that knocks on your door, having them tear through your cupboards—eating all of your food, and letting them trash your entire house. It’s time for us to become much more discriminating about which thoughts we entertain and which we send along their way.

Choose to spend time with thoughts that serve you, and send the ones that don’t on their way!
